National Career Development Conference

The National Career Development Conference (NCDC) is the annual highlight providing an opportunity for all NCA members to participate in general sessions, competitive events, educational workshops, leadership development training, and college and career exploration.

The NCDC also serves as a recognition opportunity for NCA members to demonstrate the competencies gained in the classroom through the NCA National Recognition and Competitive Events Program and participation in other NCDC activities.

The National Student Leadership Academy (NSLA) is a capstone leadership experience for National Career Association state officers and local chapter leaders, providing unique experiences through experiential learning, real-world applicability, and networking.

In addition to leadership development, JAG participants will explore our Nation’s Capitol, visit with leaders on Capitol Hill, participate in a wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery, and sightsee during the Twilight Monument Tour.

All JAGTN Specialists are required to attend our yearly state training, which is a great opportunity for teachers to share best practices, foster connections, and build goals for the upcoming year. This year’s training will be held at Pickwick State Park in Counce, TN. All associated expenses will be covered by JAG Tennessee.
